Not a Kindergartner anymore

Nope, not today.

Today, she's a big 1st grader.

She gets to ...  do 1st grader work, have more recesses, eat hot lunch and be a pick-up.

The girl is so excited!  Her mom, well, I'm not going to go there.  It's just one day and then my little kindergartner will be back, for at least  9 more school days until it's completely official, and I'll take it.  I'll hold on to whatever I have left.  Plus, I have all summer before I really have to think about it, right?  Right.

 

P.S. I'm really going to miss her.

so is she gone all day too??? maddy did a little day of first grade awhile back. she loved it. they didn't get to do the whole lunch thing though. not sure why. g and k did it last year.

i can't believe you only have 9 more days left of school! it's wierd to think we have 6 1/2 weeks (that stretch starts today :D) but maddy will still start first grade before you guys.

hope abigail enjoys her day. can't wait to hear all about it.

OH the sadness ... you'll have to help me through it when E goes!! I am pretty sure we'll adjust to K okay, but 1st Grade, all day ... oh my!! I'll be praying for you both. Enjoy every moment together this summer!!

I am just glad that we can have a carpool in the afternoon too now that you will have a pick up. Sounds like it was a great day for her!

that's cool, they let them go all day, how fun! We are still hoping H gets in at Pioneer he's #6 on the list!
