bits from the week

Abigail:: "Mom, you need to send Ash to listening school.  Really, you should send her."

Abigail:: "She didn't come mom, my teeth are still under my pillow."

 
I'm not sure how this happened, but look at Ash, that might just say it all.

My little sister turned 30!  Happy Birthday, Ann!!

Jason and I had a date night.

We've gone on many a walk with Jake around the subdivision.

The kids got to play with their cousins all week.

We made smores one night.

When I was reading a book to Ash about a cowgirl going out and sleeping with her horse in the barn Ash said, "Mom, they forgot to say their prayers."

I did a LO.

I even started and finished a book, The Kite Runner. 

I'm looking forward to week 2 of summer vacation!

oh my goodness, that first picture of ash and jake is absolutely hilarious!!! i can't believe how big jake is though! wow!

love the LO too. i started one this weekend. maybe i'll get around to finishing it tonight :)

I love that look on her face! She's so proud of herself! And Jake is HUGE! Not that I expected him to stay tiny but still - HUGE!

Cute LO! I desperately want to scrap! As soon as this blasted Farmers Market is done consuming my free time we'll have to get together!
