June 1st ...

... happened to be the 1st day of summer vacation for us.

Melissa and I thought the only way to celebrate school being out for summer was to have a party and so ... that's just what we did.

Here's the invitations the kids gave to their school friends.

 

When the kids 1st arrived they each picked out a lei to wear.

We had a slip-n-side, hundreds of water balloons and water guns.

For snacks we  made p&j sandwiches, set out bowls of chips, put umbrellas with a cherry and straw in each kids cup of kool-aid and brought out these fun cupcakes at the end. 

The sun came out and the party was a hit.

Whose kid is that with the cheeto up the nose? At least you didn't explain the rest of the story where he ate the cheeto once it had been up his nose, seriously who would let their kid do that? It was a great party and a fun time had by all, next year.....your house :)
